Charles Lowe, third son of Isiah and Amanda Lowe, was born April 10, 1881 near Wallace, Ind. His sickness was of short duration, but all that medical skill and careful nursing could do could not avail and he passed away Sunday Dec 9, 1917, aged 35 years, 7 months and 29 days. He was an energetic, industrious and home loving man and will be greatly missed not only in his home but by his many friends as well. He was married to Daisy Bruner Feb 1904 and to them was born one son, Kenneth, who will sadly miss a loving father’s care. Besides these he leaves a father and mother, one sister, Mrs. Lola Moffett of Kingman and three brothers, John Lowe of Yeddo and Harry and Albert Lowe of Wallace. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church, east of Wallace Tuesday at 11 o’clock by Rev. H Davis of Hillsboro and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery nearby. – kbz
